Estée Lauder and Momofuku Milk Bar’s Christina Tosi have come together to create The Estée Cookie, based on the grandma-ish but still relevant Estée Lauder Private Collection fragrance.
I recently ate a Christian Siriano-designed Magnum ice cream bar dessert, and I’ve enjoyed a free pot cookie at Another magazine’s fashion week party, but this is eating fragrance. Correct me if I’m wrong, but this seems like a new thing for desserts as promotional fashion accessories. On Instagram, it kind of looks like a Boboli pizza after someone who doesn’t eat carbs “ate” it. It’s got rose extract and freeze-dried strawberries in addition to the usual Tosi suspects: butter, milk crumbs, and glucose. It’s not a diet Karlie Kloss cookie, so if you can get past eating this scent from the ’70s, it’s for you. Trust me and buy the thing because making these recipes is a PROCESS.
Now it’s time for Emily Schuman of Cupcakes and Cashmere, who also partners with the brand, to create the matching manicure.
