Abercrombie & Fitch On List Of Worst Corporations

File this under Least Surprising News Of The Day: Corporate Responsibility magazine is publishing their very first black list of the worst companies in the world, and Abercrombie & Fitch has snagged itself a spot.

According to The New York Times, the list ranks corporations according to transparency, which the magazine defines as “making information about practices like employee benefits, climate-change policies or philanthropic efforts publicly available.”

Working off the Russell 1000 index of large-capitalization stocks, Corporate Responsibility scored companies on 349 data points in categories like financial, governance and human rights.

Abercrombie & Fitch refused to comment on the findings, which left editor in chief Dirk Olin “somewhere between stupefied and flabbergasted.”

In case you need a refresher, Abercrombie has battled accusations of discrimination against Muslim, non-Caucasian, and prosthetically-limbed staff, as well as a myriad of other workplace discrimination lawsuits.

We do have one question, though: where does Prada fall on this list?
