SXSW Style Guide: 8 Band T-Shirts We’d Actually Wear

If you’re not hip to concert etiquette, allow me to introduce the cardinal rule: you can never, and I mean never, go to a show wearing a T-shirt of the band you’re there to see. Even if the “band” is David Bowie and the shirt is this amazing design by Paul Smith. So before hopping an Austin-bound plane, skip the vintage racks of tired, black Metallica tees and stuff your duffle with these South-By-approved styles instead.

Just do us a favor and and make sure you double check the SXSW lineup to avoid one major, musical faux pas. Bonus points if you pick a group that’s not performing at the festival at all.
