Diane Von Furstenberg’s GapKids Collection To Launch Next Spring
Are you ready to dress your kids up in pint-sized wrap dresses and cheerful prints? Are you ready to do so with Diane von Furstenberg designs at Gap prices? The retail giant may be in trouble, but the rumored DVF/GapKids collaboration has us very, very excited.
We don’t know much, but it sounds like the collection is indeed happening. It will be for girls only, and will probably roll out next spring. Just don’t be too bummed that the clothes are for tots and not adult-sized people! We’ve been known to buy items in the biggest size (which, by the way, is usually a kids’ XXL or size 14) from Stella McCartney‘s GapKids line — and so has Carla Bruni, who is decidedly taller than we are. (Plus, it will be way cheaper than Lanvin‘s “superluxury” children’s line.)
We’re pretty sure this is DVF’s first foray into kids’ design, though she’s certainly into expansion these days. She launched her very first home line in February.
