How Much Will Fendi Charge For This iPhone 4 Case?

Fendi may be known for their leather goods, modern takes on classic staples, and the fact that their fur once got Naomi Campbell canned from her PETA spokesperson role, but that doen’t mean they’re above designing something as banal as an iPhone 4 carrying case. Luxury cases for techy products are no new frontier — Louis Vuitton’s leather version cost almost as much as the iPad itself — but we’re not sure we’ve ever seen a fashion house design one that looks so, well, cheap.

Fendi’s army green, logo-embossed rubber case looks like something you might buy off a street vendor in Chinatown, which would be fine if we didn’t have the sneaking suspicion the brand plans on charging an absurd amount of cash for it. No pricing or details have been released, but considering what fashion people think is cheap, well, you know what to expect.
