Festival Style: What To Wear To Coachella And Beyond
Heading to Coachella next weekend? Getting a head start on your packing plan of attack for Bonnaroo/Lollapalooza/Pitchfork/Governor’s Ball/Burning Man/Electric Zoo? We’ve got you covered.
Well, maybe not for Burning Man. You probably just need some body paint for that particular one.
As we sit here with a corner window open to the Coachella live stream, we can’t help but fantasize about this summer’s fast-approaching bevy of music festivals. So, in the spirit of channeling our jealousy towards a productive cause, we’ve put together a slideshow of our favorite dresses, shorts, hats, bags, and more to keep you looking cool, even when you’re smack dab in the middle of a sweaty mosh pit.
Gilt.com is getting in on the festival action too, with a sale this Monday devoted to the freewheeling style of summer concerts. Editorial Director Melissa Liebling-Goldberg gave us her tips for dressing for long nights of desert dancing:
It’s all about indulging your inner hippie chick! Look for items with great detailing like tie-dye, crochet, fringe and globally-inspired prints. And don’t forget to pack plenty of sunscreen!
Boho accessories are key. Printed or fringed bags spice up any outfit, and keeping them lightweight is a must for easy dancing and standing all day long. Crossbody styles are especially perfect for when you want to rock out and have your hands free.
Sounds good to us! Check out our summertime festival picks below:
