Gilt Offers A ‘Flash Mob Wedding Proposal Experience’ For $20K

Just when we thought the flash mob trend was dying out, Gilt put up this listing on their site: a ‘flash mob wedding proposal experience’ at NYC’s Artisanal Fromagerie and Bistro on Dec. 12, which you can have for a mere $20,000.

The listing gives the details of what would be a very elaborately planned evening. The deal comes with an award-winning choreographer who will create a dance to the music of your choice, a group of hired flash mobbers who will pose as diners before erupting into song and dance around the happy couple, a videographer to tape the event (so your proposal can go viral, obviously), and a five-course meal with wine pairings. Strange? Maybe a little. But if you have $20,000 to burn, it could make for a pretty good story! However, a word to the wise: you better be pretty certain that your significant other is going to say ‘yes’ before you plan a proposal like this. (Don’t let this happen to you!)
