Is Gwyneth Paltrow Designing A Line For Topshop?

Looks like Gwyneth Paltrow will be bringing her eye for fashion to a Topshop near you! The actress/singer/cook/blogger had dinner with Sir Philip Green, head of the British clothing store, in London last night.

Gwyneth would be filling the shoes of former Topshop celebrity designer Kate Moss, whose 3-year, £3 million contract with the chain ended last fall. It had been reported that Chloe Green, Sir Philip’s 19-year-old daughter, would be the next Topshop collaborator, but we’d happily take Gwyneth, who is older and a little more seasoned in the fashion world, over the boss’ daughter.

Paltrow, who lives in London and the US, is not new to the design world. In 2009 she did a 70s-inspired line for ZOEtees, the same French fashion label that designer Stella Mccartney designed for.

So between being the face of Coach, rocking it on the red carpet, and now a possible collaboration in the works, Gwynnie is officially a major player in the fashion world. Since it seems there’s nothing the woman can’t do, we hope last night’s dinner really was about a Topshop design deal, but we’re trying not to get our hopes up since Rhianna‘s meal with Sir Philip last year ended without a collaboration.

Thanks for imparting the comment. It’s very timely because I am myself experiencing pains similar to this, also I’m really intending testing this myself.
