J-Woww Shuts Down Filthy Couture, Too Lazy For Lawsuit
Oh, J-Woww with two W’s. It was only a few short months ago that we got our first glimpse of her garish, lace overlay-burdened, rhinestone-encrusted Filthy Couture line. And now, thanks to successful application of copyright infringement laws (and a little bit of her own laziness), we don’t have to deal with it anymore.
Radar reports that Jenni J-Woww Farley’s fledgling company had been getting a steady stream of orders, but that a similarly named line threatened legal action. But according to an inside source, Farley could have saved her company quite easily if she’d changed its name.
“She could have given her line a new name but instead just let it go. She’s no longer designing cloths for her line and I’m not sure if she’ll ever do it again,” the source said. “She couldn’t handle the clothing line and didn’t really have the help she needed.”
What’s worse (or better, depending upon your outlook) is that many of the orders placed had to be cancelled, and the money that people across the country spent to look just like Jenni had to be returned.
Are was sad that her venture didn’t work out? No. We work for a living, so it’s a little disgusting to us that Ms. Farley is pulling down the kind of money that allows her to just walk away from a clothing company. At least now she has plenty of time to focus on “The Jersey Shore.”
