WATCH: Kim Wishes Kate Middleton Happy Birthday By Way Of Cheap Shoe
Where do we even start with this? Fake princess Kim Kardashian made a video wishing real princess Kate Middleton a happy 30th birthday, and in the process presented her with a pair of $60 Brian Atwood knockoffs that Shoedazzle “created” and named in Middleton’s honor.
The quilted black leather platform pumps are called The Duchess, and they look like a nice pair of shoes — and so do Brian Atwood’s quilted Maniac platform pumps. While we understand that it’s the thought that counts when giving a gift, we’re not convinced Team Kardashian thought this 26-second video all the way through. It’s not even scripted and it totally looks like Kris Jenner‘s second assistant filmed it on her BlackBerry in the bathroom of a slightly high-rent gentlemen’s club. (Seriously, is that faux black python wallpaper?)
One thing Kardashian says in the video that we do agree with is that “every woman should feel like a princess every day.” But it probably won’t happen in these shoes.
