LOOK: The Lanvin Hearts H&M Madness Has Begun!
Clearly we need to make more friends in Tokyo.
This afternoon, bloggers and editors all over New York City will get a sneak peak at the Lanvin Hearts H&M collaboration. But it’s already afternoon in Tokyo, so bloggers and editors there have already seen the collection, taken pictures of it and sent those pictures off to people who are apparently more likeable than we are.
Our friends at Racked got these pictures from fashion writer Misha Janette, who saw the clothes in Japan while the rest of us were still asleep. On the women’s side there are lots of party dresses in bold, bright colors and floral prints, not to mention enough tulle to cover several corn fields in Iowa. On the men’s side there’s lots of hip formalwear (Alber Elbaz‘s favorite floppy bow ties make several appearances) as well as brightly colored metallic shoes.
Instead of trying to explain the weight of what this collaboration means (again), we’re just going to let you pore over it and see for yourself. We’ve included a few images from the collection’s official look book, more of which you’ll find at Nitrolicious. There’s also the official short film, which we suggest you watch as soon as possible to allow be beauty and coolness of it all inform how you feel for the rest of the day. Ready? Go!
While we’re on the topic, we had no idea Lanvin Hearts H&M would include a men’s collection. Check out the shoes! And the bowties! (And for more pics, check out Nitrolicious.)
