Leigh Lezark Didn’t Actually Design Anything For Her H&M Collab

Last week, we questioned why H&M was collaborating with DJ-turned-muse Leigh Lezark while competitors like Macy’s were working with style icons like Anna Dello Russo, and now we know why. Lezark didn’t actually design anything for the partnership which bowed last night in London.

Instead, Lezark was apparently tasked with curating what is essentially an H&M pop-up shop at Selfridges, “I really just went with anything that I personally liked,” she explained to Vogue UK. “H&M is very versatile and usually fits into all sorts of styles and wardrobes. They asked me to pick a few of my favorite pieces and style a few mannequins and I couldn’t see why not.”

Now if only every other non-designer “collaboration” would be so honest.
