Your First Look At Marni For H&M’s Ad Campaign
Is there such a thing as too many collaborations? Not in our world. (Doo Ri Chung agrees!) So while we only heard about Marni’s line for H&M back in November, the first ad leaked today.
It’s dark and rich and moody and features lots of mixed prints (is that paisley on cheetah on leopard that we spy?) — which is exactly how we like our clothing. A QR code in the lower left corner of the ad alerts the viewer to a commercial shot by Sofia Coppola, which makes sense considering Marni’s stylishly intelligent design.
A few commenters on The Fashion Spot (which is where this image first appeared) posit that the model is British actress Imogen Poots. It’s unconfirmed but a Google image search tells us they’re probably right.
The collection debuts March 8. Are you excited?
