Naomi Thinks Jeans Are Like Pasta (Plus More Details On Fiorucci)

This whole Naomi Campbell Fiorucci collaboration has been confusingly underpromoted, but now we have details about the denim (and t-shirt!) line straight from the supermodel herself.

The collection will include 15 denim pieces, as well as six t-shirts printed with Naomi’s i-D covers. It’s set to roll out next spring, so we assume we’ll get a peek at the designs come Milan‘s fall Fashion Week.

Fiorucci approached Naomi about teaming up, and they “got everything done in a hurry.” Naomi says she focused on the pants’ fit more than anything else, but does she actually wear jeans that often?

“Absolutely. I’ve got so many pairs: jeans are perfect for travelling – you can wear them with a pair of trainers or flip-flops if you want comfort or heels if you want to look sexy. Jeans are like pasta – basic, but you can interpret them differently each time and play with the accessories.”

Jeans are like pasta? Well, that’s a new one! The i-D tees are below, but we’ll have to wait a bit to see this butt-enhancing denim. Sigh.
