People Hate Shopping Online At Gap, Think Amazon Is The Best

We’re big online shoppers (drunk or not), so we know a thing or two about e-commerce customer service. For one: Amazon is great.

Consumer research firm ForeSee has released the results of an online customer satisfaction survey, and we’re a bit surprised by what they found. Overstock.com ranked worst, followed closely by Gap. Gap sure has had an awful year! Conversely, for the 14th year in a row, Amazon topped the list. Other strong performers were Apple, Avon, JC Penny, and QVC. Netflix‘s score fell a significant amount, and there’s no word on Target, whose e-tail division screwed up royally this fall.

Do you agree with these findings? Is there any online store that deserves recognition for being awesome…or awful? Tell us your thoughts in the comments!

Amazon is good and I also like it. It’s dependable and offers good customer services, reasonable prices. I like to visit it regularly and before that I tend to collect coupons & deals from dependable sites like RetailMeNot or the rising-star CouponSnapshot. If I can save and receive good customer services, why not to choose Amazon?

Nordstrom must be added to the top of e-commerce.  Their website is clean and easy to navigate (although I’m not wild about their latest UI).  I regularly order two sizes of everything to ensure at least one of them will be a keeper.  Returns are always accepted with no hassles or questions.  They are my go-to online store and have been for the last 10 years.
