Proenza Schouler To Launch A New Footwear Line

Proenza Schouler is a go-to brand for cult accessories, and its forthcoming shoe line with new licensor Iris SpA is definitely going to be an immediate hit.

Beginning with the 2013 pre-fall season, the two companies will launch a new footwear line and, unlike Proenza’s first one with Vicini SpA, designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez have “plans for significant growth.” Iris SpA currently manufactures shoes for other high-end brands like Michael Kors, Nina Ricci, and Marc Jacobs, so it’s safe to say that Proenza’s in good hands.
