Polyvore Users Will Design Rebecca Minkoff’s Newest Bag!
Polyvore has joined forces with Rebecca Minkoff for one of the coolest fashion contests we’ve seen in a while. The contest, which launches today and ends next Monday, asks Polyvore users to create their own version of Minkoff’s classic Morning After clutch.
Using the site’s digital images of the bag’s components — leather, studs, zippers, tassels, lining and more — to design the clutch, entrants must also must explain the inspiration behind their creations through text and photos. Minkoff will pick her 10 favorite, which users will be able to vote on via her Facebook page during the first week of December. The winner’s design will be produced as part of the Rebecca Minkoff fall collection (to be sold in stores beginning in March), and the winner will be flown to see the bag’s runway debut during New York Fashion Week. Pretty cool, right?
