Sketchers Rips Off TOMS Shoes In The Name Of Charity

If there’s one aspect of the fashion industry more prone to knock-offs than purses, it’s shoes. And “counterfeit” shoes aren’t sold on a dirty corner of Canal Street. Instead, they’re found at your average mall retailers like Steve Madden or Aldo, where last season’s Louboutins are recreated in the under $100 price range. But in the strangest edition of This Thing Looks Like That Thing we’ve ever seen, Sketchers has knocked off philanthropic shoe brand TOMS.

Sketcher’s new line is called BOBS Shoes and features slip ons made of solid and striped canvas. The shoes run around $42 and according to the Sketchers website, for every shoe purchased, they’ll donate a pair to children in need, via an organization called Soles4Souls.

TOMS Shoes, if you aren’t familiar with the brand, was started by Blake Mycoskie in 2006. From their website:

In 2006, American traveler Blake Mycoskie befriended children in Argentina and found they had no shoes to protect their feet. Wanting to help, he created TOMS Shoes, a company that would match every pair of shoes purchased with a pair of new shoes given to a child in need. One for One. Blake returned to Argentina with a group of family, friends and staff later that year with 10,000 pairs of shoes made possible by TOMS customers.

Since then, TOMS has become a huge success and the canvas slip ons have been spotted on celebrities and hipsters alike. At the risk of being redundant, BOBS Shoes look identical to TOMS Shoes, down to the placement of the tag, the material, the design, and the all-caps, monosyllabic men’s name.

While we appreciate what Sketchers is trying to do — and according to a cursory scan of Soles4Souls’ website, the charity looks to be not only legitimate but extremely successful — we can’t understand why they had to knock off a design in the process? Why not apply the “Shoe for a Shoe” idea to a preexisting style or create something entirely new?

There’s no such thing as too much charity, but it shouldn’t come at the expense of someone else’s design. What do you think?

seriously, they couldn’t just name it the pom! or som … it’s ridiculous! x.

  • theC

I think it’s dumb that sketchers knocked off classic TOMS! they need to be creative enough to come up with their own ideas!

  • Austonian004

I think Blake Mycoskie should take that to court.

  • Guest

TOMS didn’t develop their own style of shoes either. They’re based off of an Argentine style known as the alpargata which has been dated back to 4000 years ago. So, while you can be ticked off that Sketchers took the idea of using this style to support charity, you can hardly state that they stole the design.

  • Poopfacemcgee

It doesn’t matter whether TOMS took the design from an Argentine design, it’s the fact that BOBS completely stole the whole concept of TOMS. You would think that if they created something completely identical, they would at least lower the price for competition purposes. But they are even in the same price range. I will never own a pair of BOBS, ever, because the Sketchers company is ridiculous for stealing their idea.

  • outraged.

Yes, TOMS shoes took the Argentine style of shoe, but it’s a style- not a concept. A shoe design shouldn’t matter. There are various styles of flip flop shoes, and tennis shoes, but you don’t see companies going after other companies claiming that they stole their “style” idea, the problem here is the whole concept and idea of TOMS in the first place. Not only did BOBS steal the entire concept of TOMS, the BOBS shoes are priced almost the exact same as TOMS shoes are. As an owner of 7 pairs of TOMS, I can assure you that I will save myself the embarrassment, and money by never buying BOBS. Sketchers should be ashamed of stealing the TOMS idea. It is absolutely ridiculous.

  • Neoflame

What’s even funnier is that they’re not that much cheaper than TOMS…I mean if you copy anyone, you should copy TOMS style of doing things and the one4one movement, but if they’re not considerably cheaper for the consumer, then what’s the point?

  • Mick

Ahh, Welcome to America, at least our gov’t hasn’t stepped in yet!!! haha

  • Smiles4you

ok… TOMS are hot. Sketchers are tacky.. nuff said.

  • Taylorwhohasapoint

Okay as long as someone in need gets a pair of shoes why does it matter that they copied??? I just hate that in todays world its all about labels, Think about it they are both great charities . Get over yourselves people. You should be happy that you arent one of those people in need off the shoes.

  • netmaiden

I have a pair of Bobs – and I love them and I love that I didn’t have to pay $100 for a pair of shoes that are completely comfortable AND they donate to charity – say what you will – but I like to keep some of my money – maybe Toms should lower their prices – their shoes aren’t any better than Sketchers.

  • Hottie66

the thing is sketchers is supporting the charity work in it! only toms is!

  • Ncarter9000
  • AmyVolleyball15

I’ll admit, I have a pair of Black Glitter Bob’s.. And if it was for the label, I probably wouldn’t even be able to tell your difference, so PEOPLE, CALM YOUR BALLS. At least it’s going to charity!

  • crystaarielle

really people there just shoes so shut up

  • crystaarielle

    your tacky

  • dn_432

BOBS are amazing they are way cheaper!!!!!! If TOMs wasnt so expensive i would have every color of toms like i do BOBS!!!!!! There NUFF said!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =)

  • Cmbrwn

I am replying to all. I just tried on the bobs and I think they are much more comfortable than toms. Toms fit a little tight and stiff until they are broke in. Bobs are soft and feel great from day one. Thinking about buying some bobs just for the comfort. I just hate for people to be snooty because I am wearing more comfortable knock-offs.

  • elle

    why are they tacky?

  • Sarah

TOMS and BOBS are in the same price range. I got my pair of TOMS for $44 dollars. BOBS at my local mall sells them for $42 dollars, so saying that TOMS should lower their prices is incompetent. You want to save TWO DOLLARS? Really? The difference between the two shoe companies is that TOMS was an ORIGINAL concept, BOBS are a rip-off shoe brand trying to keep up with what customers want. BOBS can’t even be classified as a “knock-off brand” because knock-offs are LESS EXPENSIVE than the original version.

Complaining that TOMS are more expensive is pointless. They are more expensive by $2. If buying the original means paying TWO DOLLARS more, then LONG LIVE TOMS SHOES.

I hope Sketchers is sued by TOMS shoes. BOBS disgust me, I have tried them on, and they are in no way more comfortable than their TOMS counterparts.

TOMS shoes was made for all the right reasons, like helping children get foot protection. BOBS was created to keep up with competition. That fact in itself makes my blood boil. Sketchers doesn’t care about the children they help… Sketchers cares about the money they make

  • Girl

every type of knockoff is tacky. it shows your to cheap and lazy to go buy the real thing, and in this case it shows that you don’t have the heart to give to a child in need with a group that is well known and trustworthy.

  • Hairflower

It’s funny because the shoe store is called Skechers not Sketchers. Plus it’s a dumb idea. If you go to the outlet or warehouse stores they only cost 14.95, not 42.95.

  • Fairycherryberry

So i have tried both pairs… TOMS are way better, as I expected. They are completely cozy and comfortable and slipper-like. BOBS are just knock-offs that are trying way too hard. I’d rather pay the extra money for the original TOMS. TOMS customer for life!
Also I agree… the inventor of TOMS should take this court! I mean seriosuly, they could have AT LEAST put the tag elsewhere.
    What’s next, RONS by Reebok?

  • Ty4108

I think that people are making a big deal out of a little thing.Bobs and Toms look the same. The only thing is that Bobs are not as much money and the label on the back of Toms.Sure Bobs may be a knock-off but who really cares.Bobs and Toms are making drama for the public.I mean people are having the fight over them and going out and bying Bobs or Toms.So really what is the big fuss about!!!!!

  • Kmtrapp6695

i think you are all kinda silly to even care. sure ya know, they kinda “stole” the style, but theyre still helping kids! dang, by the flippin shoes if ya want. bobs are cheaper and therefore in my price range, and theyre gonna help someone out there. And toms have more options which is cool too, but a little too hight in budget for me, but ya know, still awesome and i would love some of the more bootlookin shoes, but i cant get em. So im glad i can still help someone and suport them.

  • Kmtrapp

dude, why ya gotta bring the government into a talk bout shoes???

  • Kmtrapp

uhmm… “Girl”.. where are you getting your info?? i was lookin round and theyre like 58 bucks!!! yeah, bit too high hun

  • Anna

did you read the article? it says they donate pairs of shoes as well…

  • J-ann

TOMS are 2 freakin dollars more! how are they expensive??? seriously, think about what you say before saying it…

  • J-ann

BOBS is a ripoff and TOMS should sue their asses, period.

  • Delaneyhopkins

Screw Sketchers. TOMS gives another shoe to a child in need. Sketchers just copies it for shitty money.

  • Sarah1785

Sketchers does the same. But they are too lazy to figure out their own thing so screw Sketchers.

  • Gari1084

Actually TOMS are way more expensive than BOBS by almost thirty dollars. I think it’s great that both companys are giving their shoes to charity. TOMS are for people who have money to spend on $60-$70 shoes. BOBS are for people who like the style but don’t want to pay that much for canvas and glue. I think BOBS are totally worth it and are more realistically priced. I’m even a TOMS owner and I think it’s great the Sketchers has come up with BOBS.

  • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_BFYMN7EC7W3DE3R5T7CHSA3XZM LC

$60-$70 ? The classic TOMS run at $48. Sure some of the styles like the Cordones run for $68, but that’s not all of them. They have a variety to choose from with different prices. It looks like Bobs run for $45-$50 so the price is the same for that style.
    I’ll be sticking with TOMS.

  • Larhonda Oneal

I have both TOMS and BOBS… BOBS are soooo much more comforteble… I love them! And I say ” If it’s about Charity then why be upset? Because it’s about profit.”

  • sra

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw Bobs shoes for the first time. I was standing there in the store, horrified that anyone would dare to rip off Toms like that, when next to me a girl said to her friend, “Oh, Bobs, I’ve heard of those”. Yeah, I’m pretty sure she meant Toms. That’s how much of a rip off they are, and that’s what they are trying to do is to impersonate Toms to the extent that people will mix them up and buy Bobs thinking they are Toms. I will continue to support the good work and sweet shoes of Toms by never buying Bobs! Hope Sketchers gets sued.

  • Fan

Just go to http://www.toms.com You can order the shoes for $44.00-$54.00 a pair depending on the style. They are awesome!

  • SummerCRadford

Honestly, it is a ripped shoe design, but either way it is for a good cause and helping a child in need should be far more important than the concept of it being a ripped of idea. It almost seems like you guys are more worked up about the originality of it. Really, think about it. If two companies are doing the same thing, then that means even more shoes are going to be donated to children in need from both the TOMS brand and the BOBS brand. Why would the creator of TOMS take Skechers to court if he created TOMS for A GOOD CAUSE. I mean, I’m sure he is not to excited about the fact that the shoes look the same, but BOBS are also FOR A GOOD CAUSE, why would he do that? That would be totally hypocritical, in a sense. You people should do some thinking before you begin typing away with rage.

    You are ignorant.

  • Dbulll

Have you looked at the TOMS wesite? No pair on there is $100. Get your facts straight!!

  • http://twitter.com/sanyasanshine sanya1401

Payless sells toms knockoffs and there is no pretense of charity whatsoever.

  • Nthreenah

they may have knocked off of an argentinian shoe, but they didnt sell them back to the same argentinians buying alpargatas. they brought them to america to support the genuine cause. and obviously it wasnt killing someone elses budgets because of them not having shoes! so there was no harm in the TOMS organization. Sketchers are most likely made in asian sweatshops for pennys on the dollar. TOMS are made in foreign countries but with salaries based on the countries minimum wages and legal working conditions are. its their occupation, not slave labor.

  • Nthreenah

i payed 42$ for my TOMS canvas classics. you bought third-party resale if you spent 60-70 on classics.

  • BRO

Look at Vans shoes. There are so many knock off Vans. WHO GIVES A FUCK WHO DOES WHAT, WHO WEARS WHAT, WHO MAKES WHAT. IT IS JUST A PAIR OF FUCKING SHOES. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE CARE SO MUCH ABOUT DUMB SHIT. I JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND.

  • Lucy

    They even look cheap.
Like with TOMS they look nice and well-made…BOBS look like some Dollar Store rip off.

  • Mirandagkalan

wow you are just jelous because you dont have bobs dont be rediculous

  • Mirandagkalan

  • Mirandagkalan

you are just jelous that you dont have BOBS and i dont think you have 7 pairs of toms

  • Mirandagkalan

you go girl you are totally right that is the whole reason i bought bobs to save money

  • Mirandagkalan

whatever you just dont have the money to buy bobs or toms

  • Mirandagkalan

bobs give back to children in need to you would know that if you gave bobs a chance ,bought them and looked at the lable get your facts straight and watch your language

There are a lot of things wrong with this article…

    1. IMPORTANT… the brand name is SKECHERS (not sketchers), no T included. For being the #2 shoe company in the world, obviously everyone needs to pay more attention.
    2. The espadrille (which is what this type of shoe is called) cannot be ripped off as it has been around for centuries… far back before any of us were on this earth. It is the most basic and typical shoe around.
    3. If TOMS tried to sue it would not hold up in court (see above).
    4. BOBS are more comfortable. This I can tell you from personal experience and time that I have spent comparing the shoes (from the flats to the wedges).
    5. BOBS are made from the same if not better materials as TOMS.
    6. Both companies are committed to helping those that need it. It is ALL for a good cause and in my opinion it doesn’t matter how you help, just that you help.

  • guest0206

Actually they are committed to donating 2 pairs of shoes.

  • Guest0206

Skechers is MUCH more well-known that TOMS. Skechers is the the #2 shoe company in the world, so as far as well known and trustworthy you are off. Also, Skechers donates shoes as well when you buy a pair, so how do people that buy BOBS not have a heart?? Do your research.

  • guest0206

Skechers is produced legally around the world, not in sweat shops. Everyone earns a decent salary if not good salary according to their economy. There is no wharehouse with children producing shoes for 2 pennies a day. Geez… go to school and get a business degree that you obviously so desperatley need. Also, TOMS did not knock off anargentinian shoe nor did they bring back argentinian shoes to re-create and sell. If you read the Bio the owner was concerned that the people DIDNT HAVE shoes. The ESPADRILLE (which you are referring to as the “argentinian shoe”) has been around for centuries and cannot be knocked off because it is unknown who created it. And it is the most basic shoe around! Do people like you just make stuff up in their heads and think that if it written down it sounds smart?

  • lady

i really do not think it matters if you buy bobs or toms because either
or your helping kids who are in need of shoes. despite all the copyright
and prices, who cares as long as its legit that both companies are
helping… that alone is already rewarding knowing that i bought one and i am helping some kid get a pair of their own…that’s priceless!

  • Gemgem2149

The person that thought of TOMS probaly took a lot of time just to think of one design for a shoe. Sketchers can not just come in and take a wonderful idea. It happens alot with toys and stuff but Toms are pretty unique.

  • Tiscareno_janette

I agree.! I own 3 pairs of toms. And people just need to be real and buy toms cause they are the ones who actually started doing it first. the real deal ;)

  • Weepiggys

Has anybody thought about the kids that these shoes are going to? The kids who get Bobs will probably feel left out from the kids who got actual Toms. It shouldn’t matter because this shoe style is not environmentally friendly because the shoes only last like three months. Just buy some converse and ship a pair of shoes to Argentina if you really care.

I am an owner of TOMS and I probably will never own a pair of BOBS; however, it is great that sketchers is donating shoes to children in need. The only problem I have with sketchers is that they copied TOMS to the T on the design. I’m not mad that they copied the style of shoe, I’m more upset that they copied the logos and placement of the tags. I mean BOBS even copied the three stripes with the name on the back of the shoe. They could’ve at least come up with their own logo. Sketchers has copied ideas before such as, shape-ups vs Reebok’s Tone shoes, but at least sketchers didn’t steal the exact style of shoes or most importantly the logo, well that is make a little change to the logo. Of course, sketchers wouldn’t dream to copy the logos of Reebok, Nike, Converse, etc. because it really would be hell to pay. The person who designed bobs probably use to copy essays and research papers in college and change a couple words and call his/hers.

  • NO.

WTF. Who would be jealous that someone has Bobs and they don’t? Bob’s SUCK. TOMS really are way better.
And learn how to spell JEALOUS right~

  • DIVAA

BOBS IS WHERE ITS AT. I <3 MY BOBS. TOMS, GO TO HELL. I HATE TOMS. EWWWW. BOB IS BETTER THAN TOM (:

  • Mrrinnier

toms because they have better colors and look better and more to select from

  • ALEXUSCAR

I think all of you people need to get a life. Arguing over shoes is pathetic, I say if you wear TOMS then you wear TOMS if you wear BOBS then kudos to you. Wateva you wear shouldn’t matter it’s the fact that when you do buy the shoes some kid who don’t care what brand of shoe you wear is getting a pair of shoes. To that kid shoes might be the only thing they get, so SHUT UP and get on with your life. Both shoes are made from material that is inexpensive and sold for an extremely high price (for some consumers). This is America who gives a F****!!!!

  • http://profiles.google.com/j.dawn.scott Dawn MIller

I rarely buy Skechers because they’re always a cheaper knock off of some other shoe.  I’ve always liked the idea of the shoe-for-shoe donation but I can’t afford to splurge on Tom’s.  But I agree, why not just donate shoes regardless of which type of shoe you purchase?  I wonder if Tom’s could sue?

  • Bean3250

TOMS are so expensive because you paying for 2 pairs of shoes not just one. and I thinks buying BOBS is worthlees because they took the great idea TOMS had and just made them cheaper so more people would but them. really its the thought of buying a kid in need a pair of shoes.

  • hiliana

    toms forever and bobs never

  • Dashley122791

Ur *ucking stupid. They feel broke in cause they r cheap and r going to fall apart in 2 months

  • Dashley122791

Jealous?? No I’m not cheap! and u obviously r just jealous u can’t afford TOMS cause if u could u would have bought them knowing how much better thy r then “BOBS”

  • Dashley122791

Wheree the hell do u get ur facts from? TOMS= quality, originality, pride, and perfection!

  • Dashley122791

Mirandagkalan are you like 9 years old er what? Cause u really seem like it

  • Bobsarestupid.

Why would someone want to buy BOBS? BOBS are much more expensive than TOMS. BOBS wouldn’t have came out if TOMS weren’t invented. I mean, serious. Sketchers copying TOMS is making them look PATHETIC, and STUPID. Sure BOBS are more comfortable, who cares. They are probably gonna fall apart in a month. Sketchers is pathetic.

  • carmen

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahah its funny how BOBS copy the TOMS worthless ……….

  • Summer

toms fall  aprt in 2 months

  • Hahh

uhm nope. i paid 25 for my bobs. and they are exactly identicle to TOMS. in every way, they are both for a good cause, so how about you get your head out of your ass and calm down. Noone should give a shit about the brand name as long as they are buying the shoe for the right reason, to help kids in need. people seem to think turning the whole bobs thing into a big delima which is the most rediculous thing ive ever seen. Just think if other companies did what TOMS is doing.. So many other children would have shoes. since when is that a bad thing. yeah, toms did copy.. but THEY ARE DOING IT FOR A GOOD CAUSE ALSO WHICH IS THE REASON PEOPLE SHOULD BE BUYING THE SHOE IN THE FIRST PLACE.

  • Hahh

oh my god, thankyou. This is the most rediculous thing ive ever seen. people arguing over which shoe is better just because one coppied off the other.

  • Zishma:)

My sister and I have pairs of TOMS, and they are incredible, my friend has a pair of BOBS, and she said she wished she had payed a little extra so she could have gotten TOMS. She said that her BOBS weren’t comfortable, and they took a bit to break them in. TOMS are comfortable from the first time you put your feet in and they are broken in in about an hour or even less. Also, someone said TOMS break in like 2 months, well they are wrong, I wear my TOMS everywhere, for the past 4 months and they still haven’t broken. The reason you have to get them tight, is because the canvas stretch so in order for the back to not be all droopy and stuff, you have to get them a little, smaller.

  • Zishma:)

Well TOMS are more expensive by like 2 dollars, the thing is though that TOMS, are better Quality, and BOBS are just copying TOMS

  • iheartTOMS

TOMS are better in every way hon GET THAT STRAIGHT!!!!!! TOMS are not worthless BOBS are!!!!!!!!!!

  • Lward

It’s called licensing people… TOMS licensed the concept to Sketchers. You don’t hear Blake commenting on this do you? No, because he is making money.

  • Taylor

I honestly think these shoes are ugly and don’t prefer either of them, just my opinion. But, BOBS did copy TOMS. It’s totally unfair, especially since they copied the idea of the name of TOMS, and they’re also donating to kids who don’t have shoes.  First of all, Sketchers needs to come up with their own ideas and be original. I mean it’s a great cause, but they’re total knockoffs. Since people are saying they’re the same price, it’s better to buy TOMS, unless you want to look like a total dumbass wearing knockoffs lol.

  • Karla

that is so not true =/ I’ve had mine for over a year and they are still in good condition…..I don’t know how you are wearing your shoes. they are casual shoes… not hiking or running shoes.

  • Hayroe

If he takes them to court he better take all the others that have the same looking shoe I have friends that have shoes that look exactly like Bobs and Toms and are another brand but you never see comments about those companies. All the judging about what people buy and wear is sad honestly.. The whole point was to help kids who needed shoes and people are busy judging each other about which shoe they buy an wear. I personally have pairs of both Bobs and Toms. Toms are hard to find where I live. And those people that start by saying it’s for needy kids but then put people down for buying whatever brand the person who is paying for them wanted to buy need to go on because you apparently don’t think it was about the needy kids. I’ve bought shoes my self for a few of my students that needed shoes. Who cares what someone else buys? I work for my money and if I want to buy some other brand that’s my priority. I dang sure don’t care what brand someone else wears it may not be my taste but I’m not going to call them names because of it.. When you start paying for my clothes then you can tell me what I can and can’t wear so until then I will buy which ever brand I want.

  • Anjiegutensohn

I could not agree more!! However I believe (not 100% sure) that one can not get a patent on clothing.
I know this from experience. In the early 70′s my father invented a pair of Mt. Climbing pants where the bottom half zipped off to create a pair of shorts. He also designed a coat/jacket.
At the time my family owned a small ski shop in Oregon. My parents would visit the trade shows in Vegas and Reno every year for buyers. My father brought his prototypes to one of these shows and discovered this information regarding patents. He decided not to move forward with the idea. Wouldn’t ya know the very next season the trend of the zip off sleeves was born!! Of course he could have run with his idea but he chose not to. His idea was stolen just at a buyers show. It was not even on the market yet.
Anyway I don’t know why one cannot patent clothing but if the law is still the same this explains why sketchers is able to do so

  • lkwjhkjeqkrjwejh

All I see is, “You’re just jealous you don’t have BOBS” but I even saw toms first and I own NEITHER… So yeah, not like I’m defending my shoes. Bobs are cheaper but I would feel like I’m ripping off toms while I’m wearing them. I noticed right as my rich friend (she has like 10 pairs of toms) got new black sparkly ones like a year ago, bobs came out immediately after with black sparkly ones. I’m not even kidding when I say I’ve seen bobs do that with a lot of designs. Sketchers has been known to take other brand’s ideas with shoes, but to me this is kind of ridiculous. Sorry if this comment offends anyone or triggers anyone to go off on it… I’m just stating my opinion.

  • Shut up.

Does it really matter? They are both for charity. It you prefer TOMS then that’s your choice. Same as if you prefer BOBS. It’s for CHARITY.

  • Jasminejackson

honestly i have both so hushhhhhhhhhhh about which one is better

  • theother Darrin

The kids who get Bobs will feel left out form the kids getting actual Toms? You really think that? Because if I was getting a BRAND NEW pair of shoes for the FIRST TIME, I wouldn’t care much about the brand. Especially because the shoes are so similar anyway, and both are made form durable material and are good quality (coming from someone who owns both Toms and Bobs).
Argentina isn’t middle/high school. Brand doesn’t matter as much there.

My daughters bobs fell apart in under 2 months! Nothing I can do about it… Didn’t save the reciept. Save your money.

  • TOMS <3

I just want to point out to all of the “Bob’s Bandwagon” people bragging about saving anything (on an inferior product, no less) should note that on the shoe box it is explained that the company will only donate a pair of shoes for each pair sold at REGULAR price.  So, your discounted BOBS are not only cheap (in every sense of the word), but you are not purchasing a pair of shoes for a child in need.  I’ve had my classic TOMS for 2 years now, and I throw them in the washer and dryer as needed.  No problems yet, and really comfy.  Oh, snap!  And so kid got a free pair of quality kicks =).

    I <3 my TOMS

you all sound like a bunch of second graders!

  • Leeanne Mcleod

This bickering over the two companies is kind of ridiculous. Both companies are doing good for those who dont have shoes and thats the number one matter here. From what I know, I got my Toms (Canadian price) classic for 70$. It was fairly expensive but for good causes. Yes, indeed Bobs are cheaper and did take the same concept from Toms but its great that there are now two companies giving kids shoes which is the big win here. It really all depends on ones choice, and people shouldnt insult people for buying bobs. If thats what they chose because of preference, well thats great. Toms are also great, so in the end, they are very similar and both good shoes.

  • Jay :)

    RIGHT!
Skechers should of never copied TOMS…….. What can’t Skechers think of there own ideas seriously! You guys need to learn how to spell they are called Skechers not Sketchers

  • JAY JAY

    BOBS, GO TO HELL.

  • Destinie

    I agree.

  • Destinie
