Uniqlo Donates $25.6 Million In Disaster Relief To Japan

Uniqlo isn’t just based in Japan — it’s downright ubiquitous over there. We’ve even shopped at a Uniqlo in a Tokyo subway station! Regardless, it’s still amazing that the retailer is donating $25.6 million to the Japanese Red Cross Society to aid in disaster relief.

The donation breaks down as such: $17 million of it is in cash ($12 million of which is coming directly from CEO Tadashi Yanai) and $8.6 million is in clothing. Since warm clothing is in high demand, all of the items will come from their HeatTech line, and will include innerwear, outerwear, jean and towels. In addition, drop-off boxes will be available in Uniqlo stores so costumers can make their own donations.

Actually you can use Facebook and Twitter to give your donation to help Japans, this time they now start standing after the disaster and I know that they can make their place beautiful again. Let support Japan to start a new life.
