PHOTO: Victoria’s Secret Aggressively Photoshops Model

Today in egregious Photoshopping, Victoria’s Secret does some serious legwork on one of its models. Sigh.

We’re totally creeped out by the way this model’s airbrushed thighs don’t appear to connect to the rest of her body. The lack of shadow where her leg meets the romper is also indicative of an awful cut-and-paste job. So file this under “weirdly modified models,” and call it a day.

Sigh. There’s no shadow because the sun is slightly behind her and to her right. Them twigs ain’t photoshopped- homegirl is THAT hungry. Sometimes your “phototshop fail” posts aren’t failures at all, the girls are that skinny! I agree that photochop goes way beyond normal retouching sometimes but if you call out every add that looks a little off (and are usually a little off because extremely thin bodies can look a little off in certain angles in photos) then this becomes the bitter fashion blog that cried wolf! And that undermines the real issue of Photoshop being used to create unattainable perfection. Let’s stick to the super obvious mistakes like missing limbs and such and not just an emaciated girl with near unbelievably thin thighs.

well, actually victoria’s secret’s models usually are not that skinny and the legs here look really weird.

Oh, that’s definitely photo shopped alright! The leg on the right is bent and they’re at an awkward angle to the rast of her body. Scary!
