Brad Goreski To Style Kate Spade’s Fashion Week Presentation

Rachel Zoe‘s former assistants haven’t done too badly for themselves. Taylor Jacobson snagged a Golden Globes gig, and now we’ve caught wind that Brad Goreski will be doing some styling for Kate Spade.

Goreski will be styling the brand’s fall 2011 presentation during New York Fashion Week next month. He’s excited (“The clothes are very playful and energetic with a modern feel, which is very much in tune with my own style. I’m excited for this opportunity!”), Kate Spade’s creative director Deborah Lloyd is excited (“I am thrilled that Brad is working with me. We both love to see people have fun with fashion!”) and we’re excited, too!

We love the direction the brand is going in (check out the great Bryce Dallas Howard ad below), and think Brad is an awesome addition to the team. Congrats, Brad!

My love for Brad has no bounds, and though Kate Spade’s designs have always been quite playful, I never truly found the line youthful. It seems things are becoming a bit younger (not teen, but younger than middle-age) at Kate Spade.
