Dolce & Gabbana To Get Into Couture Game With Private Show

Next month Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana will put on a couture presentation in Sicily — no press allowed.

According to WWD, the clients-only presentation “on their home turf is an experiment to see if the designers want to take the concept further into a full-fledged business”. Of course, Dolce & Gabbana is no stranger to custom creations. The label dressed a bevy of ladies (Scarlett Johansson included) in exclusive gowns for this year’s Met Gala.

First kids’ clothes and now this? Big things going down over at D&G.
