Love It Or Leave It: Eva Mendes’ ‘The Other Guys’ Premiere Dress

We love Eva Mendes. She’s a beautiful, talented actress who we think has a great career ahead of her in Hollywood — we seriously already smell an Oscar.

We just hope that when she does win an Oscar, she’s not wearing anything similar to what she wore at last night’s premiere of The Other Guys. We — and we’re not going to sugar coat this — hate this dress for two reasons. One, this is just the latest in a string of really, really bad dresses for Mendes. Remember the sequined blue frock she wore to the MTV Movie Awards? Or the ruched number made out of 80s-era floral print curtains she wore to the Met Ball? We do. And we will not abide someone so beautiful looking so downright bad.

Reason two (and this just kills us), is that the dress would have been fine if there wasn’t half a duvet cover tied at its waist — but Mendes elected to tie the weird bustle/cape/comforter thing around herself. The Daily Mail reports that earlier in the day, she wore the shift without anything extra. And she looked amazing.

But, that’s just our humble opinion. What do you think about the dress?
