The fashion world took Cannes by storm Monday night in honor of Naomi Campbell‘s Fashion for Relief show, in which bold-faced names model designer duds which later get auctioned off for charity — this year to support Japan. And while the likes of Jane Fonda, Rosario Dawson, and Naomi herself stomped down the runway to applause and with aplomb, no shortage of professional models (three, to be exact, including Lindsey Wixson) found themselves stumbling and tumbling their way along the catwalk.
There must have been something up with the red carpet because we’ve never seen so many models wobble their way through a show in somewhat reasonable looking shoes. Miss Wixson had it the worst, however. Not only was her bronzed gown way too big for her, its many layers caused her to fall not once, not twice, not even thrice, but four times.
To her credit, she handled it like a champ, thumbs up and all.
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
