For those of you who don’t know, Fashion Week has sponsors. Some sponsors, like Maybelline and Tresemme, make a lot of sense. Other sponsors, like the New York Times and Getty, add an extra air of credibility to the shows. This season, no sponsors were more omnipresent (or in-your-face) than Fiji and Starbucks.
We were offered Frappuccinos and bottles of water everywhere we turned, an exercise in extreme branding. We found it quite giggle-worthy that there are nearly a dozen galleries on Getty devoted to the two brands’ Fashion Week activites. So, naturally, we had to share some of our favorite pics with you.
