How do we know? For one thing, Kloss is definitely in the City of Lights — the 19 year old has been tweeting pictures of Beaux Arts architecture and to lots of the other lovely ladies who are slated to tear up the catwalks over the next week. A few hours ago, she tweeted that Jourdan Dunn needed to “HURRY YOUR BOOTY UP!!!” presumably so they could shred at the Chanel show together.
But it’s not just Kloss’s tweets that make us think she’s going to be there. Next Model Management, which manages Kloss, tweeted a picture of its Paris model board, which includes snapshots of the 42 women it plans to promote during the fall shows — and Kloss’s Vogue Italia cover is among those pictures. (We also spotted Arizona Muse and Abbey Lee Kershaw on the board, but we’re not as surprised to see them there as we are Kloss.)
So why would Kloss wait until the last minute to hop on the runway? She said before that she cancelled her New York Fashion Week plans for a big opportunity, but if she skipped out on London and Milan, we think that must mean she has some exclusive deal with one of the designers in Paris. And honestly, if we had the money to pay Kloss to walk for us and us alone, we’d shell out. Who wants to place a bet that it’s Chanel?
UPDATE: Harper’s Bazaar tweeted a photo of Kloss walking the runway at Anthony Vaccarello‘s fall presentation in Paris less than an hour ago, so we think our initial idea about the designer exclusive might not have hit it right on the head. Vaccarello is a great designer — and Kloss has worn his clothes on and off the runway — but we can’t imagine that she’d just walk exclusively for him. What seems more likely is that she’s going to be in shows all week. (And we still don’t know what she was working on during New York, London and Milan.) There are still eight days of Paris Fashion Week left — let’s see if Kloss can make up for lost time.
