PHOTOS: Poodle Walks The Runway For Lanvin Hearts H&M

On Thursday night, Alber Elbaz and his game-changing collection for Lanvin Hearts H&M checked into New York City’s Pierre Hotel, where fashionistas, fashion bloggers, and fashion designers feted the line’s launch with a couture show and shopping party fit for a queen.

Though we were busy watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part One, attendees noted the party room was “decked with chandeliers, hydrangeas and a band with a songstress cooing in French.” The show, which featured models wearing couture versions of the items Elbaz designed for H&M, was decidedly more fun and playful than your typical runway fare. Models danced, the audience clapped, and Anna Dello Russo walked the catwalk with a gorgeous standard poodle.
