PHOTOS: The Absurdly Cute New Kids Collection From Lanvin

Heaven forbid we should ever have daughters, because if we do we’re going to spoil them rotten with trunks full of clothes from Lanvin‘s newly minted kids collection.

As our editor-in-chief Verena asked, who needs a college fund when you can wear Lanvin as a toddler? Designer Alber Elbaz applied the same ruffly, feminine touches to his kid’s clothes as he does to his full-grown lady clothes, but these are a lot sweeter than his standard runway fare. There’s all the tulle ruffles and pearls and bows you can imagine, and really, what other fabrics, jewels or embellishments does a child need? The clothes will probably be ridiculously expensive, but that doesn’t make them any less awesome. It just means your daughter might have to go to a state school.
