New York Fashion Week may be over, but there are still many, many shows to be seen in the weeks ahead. London Fashion Week has officially kicked off, and Milan and Paris will be following suit shortly. We’re excited about the goings-on across the pond, so we wanted to share the 5 things that excite us most about this season’s London Fashion Week.

1. The clothes!
London Fashion Week is home to shows we're dying to see — Burberry Prorsum, Jonathan Saunders, Topshop, Matthew Williamson. You can check out the full schedule here .
2. The shoes!
This shoe (the Mojito by architect Julian Hakes ) blows our mind, and it will be debuting on the London runways. The shoe "consists of a single piece wrapped around the wearer’s foot, supporting the heel and ball with no footplate in between," and will be worn by models at both the Ann Sofie Back and Ada Zanditon shows.
3. The celebs!
We can't wait to see what our favorite Brits like Lily Allen are wearing in their front row seats. Also, LFW made this Pamela Anderson/Vivienne Westwood picture possible. Amazing.
4. The innovation!
Those folks over in London have some pretty cool ideas, including this whole Burberry "retail theater" thing. The brand will be broadcasting its runway show live in its flagship stores, while customers can shop the looks (in real time!) on their iPads. The internet is the future, we tell ya.
5. The tea!
Okay, so we weren't lucky enough to snag tickets to London Fashion Week. But if we were? We would totally have afternoon tea (with scones, obviously) every day between shows. Just an FYI.
