PHOTOS: Rachel Roy’s Luxuriously Layered Fall Line-Up

Though we’d just previewed her spring collection last week, Rachel Roy‘s fall presentation didn’t disappoint.

We joined the likes of Joe Zee, Mary Alice Stephenson, Jennifer Carpenter, and, somewhat inexplicably, Aubrey O’Day at Lincoln Center’s Library for the Performing Arts, where Roy had her models set up gallery-style and outfitted in all the prints, textures, and layers our sartorially-obsessed hearts could desire.

The shoes and solid separates were are favorites, the prints were certainly eye-catching, though in some cases questionably flattering. That said, Roy’s take on layering was refreshing and, after a way too cold and way too snowy winter, certainly aspirational.
