Sarah Burton Cancels Alexander McQueen Fall 2013 Runway Show

Designer Sarah Burton is expecting twins in February, and as such, has decided to cancel the Alexander McQueen fall 2013 women’s ready-to-wear fashion show during Paris Fashion Week.

Unlike Peter Som who cancelled his New York Fashion Week show for unknown reasons,
Burton will be on maternity leave during PFW. Instead, she will show the collection at a presentation for about 100 editors on March 5 at 4:30 PM, and will host appointments for buyers later that evening. The spring 2014 collection will go on as scheduled on October 2 at 7:30 PM.
