FLASH FASHION: Quirky Colors, Drapey Cuts At Vena Cava

We love fashion, but we know not everybody has the time to scroll through every look in a runway show. Consider this your Cliff Notes to New York Fashion Week.

Vena Cava knows cool. A little bit boho, a little bit artsy — each season leaves us lusting for more. While we are excited for fall to kick into high gear (sweaters!), Vena Cava’s spring/summer 2011 collection has us daydreaming about flirty skirts and gauzy fabrics. However, we can’t help but notice a striking resemblance to Marni. While this certainly isn’t a bad thing, the quirky color palate, drapey cuts and chunky accessories seem to pay homage to the house that Consuelo Castiglioni built. Which is all to say, we love it.
