After the bone-chilling weather that hit us at NYFW last week (yup, we’re still thawing out), we can only imagine what our London counterparts are feeling this week. But thanks to the technological gods, home-based front row seats are still available for Topshop’s presentation this afternoon, as the clothier has partnered with Google to make its runway show accessible across a multitude of viewing and interactive platforms.
Ever wondered about the vantage points of Topshop regulars Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevingne as they stroll the catwalk? Select models will be wearing HD cameras during the show, and their perspectives will be broadcast both at the event and online.
Says Chief Marketing Officer Justin Cooke:
“By partnering with Google we are broadcasting the show to the consumer from every single perspective. A fashion show from concept to creation. Inventing ‘Model Cam’ allowers viewers to see and feel and unique moment that everyone has imagined but never been so close to. With everything from the nail polish to the music instantly purchasable and shareable, this really is the future of the fashion show.”
Tune back with us at 3 p.m. ET to watch! And be sure to check out our livestream of the entirety of London Fashion Week.
