PHOTOS: The 10 Weirdest Looks From Berlin Fashion Week

If Berlin Fashion Week is any indication, Spring 2013 is going to be a season of bizarre face masks, gowns decked out with gilded soccer balls, and overzealous use of fringe/hair extensions. Oh, and completely see-through man skirts for maximum tramp-stamp viewing. But you’ve already seen that particular runway gem.

We’re slightly relieved to see that Patrick Mohr, he of the terrifying bald, bearded models, held a subdued presentation devoid of any serious shock value. Those models haunted our sleep for days.

That’s not to say that there was any shortage of competition for the weirdest look of the week, however. There is a whole lotta crazy going on over in Germany, with the boys getting the lion’s share of the mystifying looks. Show after show of bizarre menswear gave serious credence to Franca Sozzani‘s views on the industry. But hey, judge for yourself:
