In a rare break from adopting children and breaking box office records, Angelina Jolie and husband Brad Pitt designed a limited edition collection of gold jewelry and silver accessories for luxury brand Asprey. The Protector Collection featured necklaces, rings, bracelets, and even a baby spoon — all of which were snake shaped.
Now, Brad and Angelina have designed their first men’s item: a set of serpent-shaped cufflinks, made of black diamonds, emeralds, and 18k white gold. They are valued at $11,000.
JustLuxe reminds us that serpents are no foreign symbol to the Jolie-Pitt family. While pregnant with their first child, Angelina wore a snake-shaped ring, believing that it would bring protection and safety to their ever expanding family. But with all those black diamonds, it seems these serpents may need some protection of their own.
All proceeds from the cufflinks, as well as the other items to be sold in the Protector Collection line, will go to Angelina’s charity, the Education Partnership For Children of Conflict.
