Shopping for vintage clothing on Etsy can be really frustrating. The photos can be misleading, pricing can seem arbitrary, and I don’t know about you, but I never trust the sizes they list. Reissued is a new app, though, that curates a selection of vintage clothing and other goods from actual vintage vendors in Los Angeles and soon, New York as well. It completely changes the vintage shopping game.
The vendors all sell high-quality goods, and the creators of the app make sure the pages and selections are legit. Most of the retailers featured on the app don’t have much of an internet presence, so the app will allow them to reach customers who otherwise wouldn’t be able to view their selection.
What’s really awesome, though, is that Reissued is pretty picky about who can sell on the app—it’s invite only for vendors. That means, presumably, there won’t be a lot of worthless stuff filling the app’s feed, so you won’t have to wade through garbage to find cool garments. That solves a problem we run into a lot, online and off.
The app is free to download, but our wallets are still unhappy. Reissued is going to make spending our money on vintage way too easy.
