Christina Hendricks may already be everyone’s favorite on Mad Men, but now she can add model to her resume. The flame-haired actress has been moonlighting as a scarf model for fellow actress and friend Tamara Mello, who sells her wares on Etsy and played Lily Esposito on the WB’s Popular. And on top of that, British brand London Fog has tapped Hendricks as the face of their Fall/Winter campaign.
Hendricks looks gorgeous in the ads, which celebrate her famous figure — a nice touch, considering the brand infamously photoshopped out Gisele’s baby bump for last summer’s ads. Perhaps as a response to the coverage of that campaign, London Fog has posted behind-the-scenes — and seemingly airbrush free — images of Hendricks modeling their looks. If ever there was a body built for the cinched-waist of a trenchcoat, Christina Hendricks’ is it.
The best part, however, might be the way life is imitating art. London Fog was a client of fictional ad agency Sterling Cooper’s on an episode in the last season of Mad Men.
Hendricks follows in the footsteps of Gisele Bundchen, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker, as well as Teri Hatcher.
this is some kind of spaceship or something.
