We’ve been keeping tabs on Emma Watson‘s style for some time now, and it looks like the 20-year-old actress is about to add designer to her resume. She has collaborted with Alberta Ferretti on an organic clothing line, which will be released at the end of December.
Emma tells Us Weekly that the look of the collections is “very classic, ’60s Jane Birkin.” Yes, that Birkin. She won’t reveal the name yet, but she did explain the origin of the partnership: “She wrote to me and said, ‘I saw what you did with People Tree and I think it’s a great idea and will you do something with me?’” Emma collaborated with fair trade fashion company People Tree earlier this year.
And for anyone who thinks Emma is just in it for the dough is wrong: “I will put it out there that I will work for anyone for free if they are prepared to make their clothing fair trade organic.”
