Remember when Helen Hunt rolled up to the red carpet at this year’s Academy Awards in a custom gown made by none other than H&M? Well, you may not have an occasion quite that glamorous on your calendar, but come April 4, you will be able to get a piece of the mass retailer’s sustainable evening wear when its Conscious Exclusive line launches in stores and online. For now, however, we’ve got the full lookbook right here for your browsing pleasure! And, what do you know, we’re actually really impressed.
The delicate lace dresses and dressed-up jumpsuits are giving us Valentino vibes in the very best way — although we imagine the quality is a slight step down from couture — and every last piece is made from eco-friendly materials like organic cotton, recycled polyester and Tencel. And although we don’t have exact numbers yet, the expansion-minded retailer tested the waters with a similar capsule collection of dresses last year, and those were priced at $60-$300, so we expect this line will hit around the same mark.
