The Hunger Games makes its nationwide theater debut exactly one month from today. And if you were panicking trying to figure out how much it would cost to have exactly one “Team Peeta” t-shirt screen printed before you head to the theatre, we’re glad to tell you that that’s not something you have to worry about anymore.
Cafe Press announced this morning that it has partnered with Lionsgate, the film company that’s bringing the story of the games to theaters, to open the official Hunger Games store. The online-only shop is filled with something for everyone who loves the book — and that’s because it has a separate sub-shop for basically every character. For example, we’re fully going to buy the Team Peeta shirt, but there’s also a Team Gale shirt and a Team Effie shirt, all of which run between $24 and $30. There are Mockingjay iPhone cases, Katniss Everdeen-inspired tote bags, a mug commemorating the 74th Annual Reaping, and over 200 other products related to the characters and locations in the story. We’re going to have to restrain ourselves from buying one of everything.
Of course the basic idea behind Cafe Press is that you can put your custom designs on just about anything — and that’s what this store seems to be: all of the things Hunger Games fans have designed corralled into one place, with a few custom pieces mixed in for good measure. But do we mind? Of course not.
Take a look at a few of our favorite pieces below. You can visit the store here. Try to control yourself.
