According to WWD, “J. Crew’s net income more than doubled to $123.4 million on a 10.5 percent rise in revenues to $1.58 billion.” Translation: they made a lot of money. And now they’re paying it forward to the people who made it happen.
Creative Director Jenna Lyons got promoted to the fancy and relatively made up title “Executive Creative Director” and received a $325,000 bonus. This is in addition to the $1 million she received six months ago based on her agreement to stay with the brand for another four years.
CEO Millard Drexler received a $2 million payout, while the CFO and a few other executives received $200,000 to $425,000 a piece.
