The Goods: A Lacey Bow Tie Skirt That’s Fit for the Boudoir

vintage lace skirt

We may all want to while away the hours prancing from one sample sale to the next, or loading our virtual shopping carts with an entire season’s worth of new duds. Of course, real life (and even realer bank accounts) get in the way. The Goods, our new curated daily feature, delivers one standout steal hand-selected for your quick and easy shopping pleasure. Today’s find: The Nightcap Clothing Bowtie Skirt for the woman who wants to keep their daywear on in the boudoir.

We’ve made no secret of tendency to go retro or longing to give Fred Astaire a run for his money in the bow tie department, so when we came across this lacey, négligé-inspired skirt, we knew wearing it would be the perfect way to defy both the season, as well as the asinine white-after-Labor Day rule. And let’s face it, if you’re one of those old souls who calls their bedroom a boudoir (guilty!), you just can’t go wrong this silky mini.

You might not be as convinced of an inevitable Indian Summer as we are, but that won’t stop us from wearing these beauties as along as we can go sans tights.
