Hungry for some sausages? How about in your shorts? You may think this is a dirty joke, but we’re actually alluding to a real life collaboration between a Brooklyn sausage shop and NYC brand Outlier. Thanks to the working minds of the two companies, a limited run of mens shorts packaged and sold with two Emily’s Pork Store sopressatas, one hot and one sweet, is now for sale online. There’s no question that a “phallicy” has been committed in this collaboration.
Breaking down the details through a grinder, these shorts are tailored to the theme. Designers Tyler Clemens and Abe Burmeister told Racked NY that the shorts feature “an elegant folded cuff, front watch pocket, and sausage toned rear pocket button.” Sounds savory, we know. With only 45 pairs available, the shorts and sausages will cost a hefty $139.99. However, if you want to save an extra ten bucks, or if you’re diet excludes meat, a vegan version will go for only $129.99. There’s no mention on the placement of the sopressatas, but if buyers find the gift packaged inside the pants, this phallic collaboration may be a little too much.
