The Goods: A Necklace For Bringing Down the Establishment (On Sale!)

We may all want to while away the hours prancing from one sample sale to the next, or loading our virtual shopping carts with an entire season’s worth of new duds. Of course, real life (and even realer bank accounts) get in the way. The Goods, our new curated daily feature, delivers one stand-out steal hand-selected for your quick and easy shopping pleasure. Today’s find: a ZOË + SYD necklace to add some chaos — and couture — to your life.

Everything’s coming up punk. In preparation for the Met Gala, Vogue released a series of videos starring Cara Delevingne in various choppy wigs, Elisabeth von Thurn und Taxis tried out a cornrow undercut, and over at Moda Operandi, Taylor Tomasi Hill and company played dress-up with feather mohawks and leather bras.

Your invitation to the Oscars of fashion might have been swiped by your mailman, but you can still join in on the fun with this pretty and dangerous necklace from The Bijoux Bar, the latest venture in J.C. Penney’s brand re-imaging efforts. Down to $96 from $120, the mixed-media collar features a gold chain, rhinestones and thread, as well as jade beads and spikes in shades of blue.

The best advice we can give you is to follow Dannijo on Instagram. There’s an awful lot of Jodie-and-Danielle “inspiration” going on, so who better to take style cues from than the designers themselves? (Pals Hilary Rhoda, Coco Rocha and Sophia Bush also make appearances.)

For now, while you’re reading up on Eddie the Earring, inject some rebel spirit into the no-name gray sweatshirt you wore to schlep around on Sunday. It might be Tuesday, but weekend dressing and punk are two things we can never get enough of. For more goods, check out the gallery below.
