It’s just like clockwork: the sun is out, the birds are chirping and all we want to do is throw open the doors and shop. And after the sloggy, slushy winter we’ve had, a good old-fashioned haul is nothing if not well-earned. Right? Alas, easier said (and dreamed about) than paid for.
Still, an empty bank account does little to quiet those stubborn retail rumblings. Fret not! In lieu of the requisite expensive merch, we’ve managed to dig up nine finds sure to satiate without condemning you to a diet of ramen for the next 6 to 12 months (those McQueen Fold-Over Booties are expensive, no?). Best part: they all clock in at less than 50-bucks — which, last time we checked, is cheaper than a sit-down dinner. From a brightly-hued Swatch to some supremely stylish cat-eyed shades and even a pair of delicious paper bag shorts (which we want now)…eat up, pretties. Because come on, what’s better than an afternoon snack?
