By now you’ve had more than 24 hours to shop the wares from the first flight of stores involved in The Shops at Target. Are you ready for round two?
The retailer has now revealed that the first shop to sign on to the second flight, on sale September 9, is none other than New York’s own Kirna Zabête. You didn’t think Target would let you go long without giving you another collaboration to look forward to, did you?
The Soho boutique (hi neighbor!) is known for their tightly-curated selection of high-end designer goods, and is easily one of our favorite places in the city to ogle Céline handbags, Rick Owens jackets, and Eddie Borgo jewels. So we can’t wait to see what owners Beth Buccini and Sarah Easley will have in store for us with their upcoming Target women’s ready-to-wear collection, consisting of about 100 pieces of clothing and accessories priced between $9.99 and $199.99.
A Target spokesman told WWD that, unlike the South Beach-inspired goods currently offered by The Webster for Target, “Kirna Zabête at Target will be more reflective of the city — the collection is urban chic.”
Stay tuned for the names of the other three stores involved (two homeware concepts and one NYC-based men’s boutique), which Target will be announcing throughout this week on their online magazine.
