We feel like Vera Wang is having a moment. This month alone she designed one of the most beautiful dresses on the Golden Globes red carpet (that Mila Kunis emerald stunner) and attended the China State Dinner. And in the past few months she’s made the Forbes Most Powerful Women list, and there’s been all kinds of talk about her fragrances. But when we think Vera, we really think wedding gowns.
Vera’s White collection for David’s Bridal has been a long time coming. The line was announced back in April of last year, and Oprah showed off the dresses (and even gave some away) in September. Now the dresses are up on the David’s Bridal website, and they’re so pretty. Beginning February 11, the dresses will be available for special order at all David’s boutiques, though initially only a select 150 stores will have the gowns on hand to try on.
The dresses cost between $600 and $1400, and will be offered in sizes 0-14. Starting midyear, bridesmaid dresses and shoes will be introduced, and certain styles will become available in up to size 26. Lace, tulle, organza and chiffon are among the fabrics of choice; colors include soft white, ivory, champagne and blush. And, like we said, the dresses are so pretty! (Note: they also have to be ordered five months in advance. Womp.)
