Russh Magazine Is All Choked Up About The Early 90s

Between the return to chic of long, goth-worthy hemlines, Lindsay‘s recent affection for bell-bottoms and a couple of Kris Kros inspired incidents, we were wondering when we’d see a resurgence of the choker. You know — the ultimate in early 90s accessories, typically teamed with a crushed velvet baby doll dress, pair of White Out-stained Doc Martins and plenty of angst.

Well, from the looks of the latest issue of Russh Magazine, it seems the fashion world is like, totally ready to re-embrace the ribbon as my so-called necklace.

For sure the spread makes no secret of its “Rat Bag” musings — model Julia Nobis in a gritty combination of Chanel clogs, Cyndi Lauper-eque ruffled skirts and hard-edged biker jackets. But there’s something in particular about a black choker that smack of trips to Claire‘s, Co-Ed naked tee shirts and well, never mind.

Whatever, at least it’s an easy D.I.Y.
