Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, who will be the country’s next queen, married Daniel Westling today in the largest royal wedding since Prince Charles married Diana Spencer. And when half the world’s royalty shows up to fete your nuptials, the pressure to look absolutely, unconditionally, superbly stunning might be heavier than the crown on your head.
But if Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel felt any pressure whatsoever, it doesn’t show up in the photos. The princess knocked it out of the park in a cream duchess satin gown with a 16.5-foot train designed by Pär Engsheden (Princess Diana’s dress had a 25-foot train). Princess Victoria also wore the same tiara and earrings her mother wore at her wedding, held on the same day in 1976. And the rest of the kings, queens, princesses and counts of the world didn’t disappoint, either. Photos of the princess follow below, but you can see the noble wedding attendees, including the stylish Crown Princess Letizia of Spain and Queen Rania of Jordan, here.
