That lovely photo of Salma Hayek was taken just last night at a dinner held during the Venice Biennale, one of the world’s biggest contemporary art festivals. And while Hayek was busy celebrating the ‘Il Mondo Vi Appartiene’ exhibit, we’d be happy just to talk about this outfit. (And wait til you see it in color!)
Yes, this dress/shrug combo with that hair and those spot-on accessories are giving us a Stylegasm. There’s nothing about this look that isn’t pitch perfect. The color looks amazing on her skin, her beehive complements it perfectly, and the beading prevents her simply shaped dress from being boring. Also, there are a few people we’d be willing to kill just to try on those snakeskin peep toes she’s wearing.
Hayek is color coordinated without being dyed to match. She’s referential without being deferential. She wins. We didn’t even know we were in a competition, but we know she wins. See for yourself below.
